Skittles – Black & Gold Bat Doll

I’m pretty sure that deluxe gold upholstery velvet isn’t the most aerodynamic material for wings, but that’s what Skittles is utilizing to fly through the night. As a result, he’s pretty clunky. He runs into a lot of trees. He crashes into cars. He catches about 2 mosquitoes per night. But we’re all just working with what we have, right?

Name: Skittles

Size: Approximately 22″ tall with a 24″ wingspan

Doll Materials: Upcycled gold upholstery velvet scraps, upcycled gray fleece scraps, faux fur, felt, thread, acrylic eyes. There is a tiny amount of non-toxic fabric glue on the shoulders to reinforce the shoulder seam since velvet is heavy.

Stuffed with: Body is scrap fabric, limbs are Poly-fil

Strength: Screaming constantly

Weakness: Not house trained

Care Instructions: Do not machine wash. Spot clean when necessary by hand washing only and allowing to air dry.
