Walter – Balloon Animal Dog Rag Doll

The very last dog to be made in Doggo Week is Walter! Walter is a quiet dog who likes blankets and watching Purple Rain over and over again. When he’s not admiring all of Prince’s wardrobe, he will sometimes go on a begrudging walk. He was not meant to be a dog but rather a pop star in the early 80s, and he knows it.

Size: Approximately 12″ tall

Doll Materials: Cotton fabric (new, locally purchased) , scrap polyester felt, thread

Stuffed with: Recycled cotton

Strength: Winner of the 2003 Balloon Animal Making Championship in Modesto, CA

Weakness: Doesn’t own a single pair of bedazzled high heeled shoes

Care Instructions: Do not machine wash. Spot clean when necessary by hand washing only and allowing to air dry.

Cotton dog rag doll. Handmade by me. This dog doll is partially made from upcycled fabric scraps that you helped save from a landfill. All dolls are unique, handcrafted and designed. You may notice some imperfections because sewing is hard, but this helps to add to their one-of-a-kind quality. Thanks for helping to pay my mortgage and feed my cats.
